How long does dog obedience training take?
Training program duration varies based on your goals. Basic Obedience covers 4 private lessons, while Basic & Advanced Obedience includes 8 lessons. Board and train options range from 1 week to 3 weeks depending on your dog’s needs. The Basic Marker Mastery™ program runs 4 weeks.
Do you offer in-home dog obedience training?
Yes. We offer in-home training options in and around your home throughout the Richmond area. This allows training to occur where habits form and where real life situations happen daily.
What if my dog has aggression issues?
We offer specialized programs including Basic & Advanced (Aggression/Anxiety) for 8 lessons and the 3 Week Behavioral Board & Train for high reactivity and anxiety cases. These programs combine obedience training with behavior modification strategies. Important: major aggression fixes cannot be completely guaranteed, but training can give control and help manage these situations effectively.
Do you offer puppy training?
Absolutely. Our Puppy Consultation introduces obedience, housebreaking, crate training, proper socialization, and pack structure for dogs under 5 months. We also offer an Online Puppy Training Course featuring 24 video modules, 8 worksheets, and approximately 3 hours of content covering potty training, crate training, pack leadership, and marker/reward basics.
Do you offer virtual training?
Yes. Our Virtual Training Lesson provides 1-hour sessions via Zoom for dog owners who need remote coaching or quick guidance between in-person private sessions.
